As a permanent Cultural Advisor based in Kununurra with Lifestyle Solutions, support cultural planning for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander young people in out of home care. Lead Cultural Support Plans, guide teams, and ensure culturally safe, compliant practice across services. Partner with communities to strengthen outcomes.

💼 What You'll Bring

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (this is a genuine occupational requirement for the position)
• Experience in cultural planning, community services or a related field
• Knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principles
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Current driver's licence and required checks and registrations
• A collaborative approach and passion for culturally safe and trauma-informed practice

🫶 What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design and delivery of Cultural Support Plans that are informed by Aboriginal voices, lived experience and cultural knowledge
• Review outcomes and provide cultural supervision, guidance and support to service teams
• Support culturally grounded and trauma-informed approaches that strengthen young people's connection to culture, Country and community
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Elders, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and community partners
• Champion culturally safe and compliant practice across services to improve outcomes for young people
