As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to strengthen our people practices and provide trusted advice across our frontline Support Worker and office-based workforce.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Operations, you will partner with managers on employee relations, performance, conduct, attendance and employee lifecycle matters. You will also own our recruitment framework, lead office recruitment and manage workers compensation and return-to-work coordination across the organisation.

This is a genuine advisory role. Routine HR and recruitment administration will be supported by our Corporate Operations Virtual Assistant, allowing you to focus on complex advice, manager coaching and practical people outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide complex HR advice across Support Workers and office employees
• Coach managers through performance, conduct and attendance matters
• Support grievances, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
• Coordinate probation and performance-improvement processes
• Own recruitment standards, procedures, interview methods and templates
• Lead recruitment for office, management and specialist roles
• Guide managers and Client Rostering Specialists on recruitment practices
• Own workers compensation, injury management and return-to-work coordination
• Support employee lifecycle and organisational change matters
• Monitor employment legislation, awards and industrial requirements
• Maintain HR policies, contracts and manager guidance
• Identify and escalate people and employment risks

About you

You will bring:

• At least three years of practical HR experience
• Strong employee relations and performance-management capability
• Experience advising managers on complex workplace matters
• Workers compensation and return-to-work experience
• Recruitment and candidate-assessment experience
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
• Strong written communication, judgement and confidentiality
• The ability to prioritise effectively within a three-day working week
• Experience in disability, healthcare, aged care, community services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
