We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Teacher - Junior Learning Support. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning journeys by providing essential support within the classroom.
Your role:
The Teacher – Junior Learning Support, works to help create an inclusive learning environment at Canterbury College. They support students in their access to learning through the delivery of learning support programs and/or supporting students within their curriculum classes. The role also involves student case management and administration, liaising with students and parents, and collaborating with teachers in adjusting/modifying teaching and assessment. Junior School Learning Support Teachers work with the Head of Learning Support in the monitoring of student progress, collating evidence of adjustments and moderating NCCD decisions. They are expected to be a key advocate for students with identified learning needs/disabilities.
