We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. Due to ongoing expansion, casual opportunities are available across Mackay.
These rewarding roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting young people and individuals with disabilities to build independence, confidence, and essential life skills within safe and supportive environments.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible within their homes and communities, enabling participation in meaningful daily activities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering person-centred support aligned with individual goals and needs
Assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, medication, and household tasks
Supporting community access, appointments, and social activities
Promoting skill development and independence
Completing accurate support notes, progress reports, and incident documentation

Successful applicants will demonstrate:
Experience in, disability support, community services, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, empathetic, and professional approach
Excellent organisation, adaptability, and time-management skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnight

Current Queensland Blue Card
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Australian Driver’s Licence and comprehensive car insurance (if using a personal vehicle)
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
(Support can be provided to obtain this where required)
