Disability Support Worker (Multiple Full-Time Positions)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Assist clients with daily activities, including meal preparation and household tasks.
• Support clients in community access and social activities.
• Implement individualised care plans tailored to the client's needs.
• Administer medications and assist with therapy-based activities where required.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NDIS and workplace safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and team members.

Qualification & Experience Essential Criteria

• Minimum 12 months of relevant work experience in disability, aged care, or community support.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
• Current

First Aid and CPR certification.

• Manual Handling Training preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and

Working with Children Check (WWCC).

• Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working with individuals with high needs, mental health challenges, or complex behaviours.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and NDIS frameworks.
