The experienced and friendly staff at Epsilon form a dynamic and cohesive team! We’re excited to welcome an Underwriting Assistant to our growing team. As an Underwriting Assistant, you’ll provide administrative support and gain experience in all aspects of underwriting – helping us to deliver on business strategy, risk assessment and exceptional experiences for our clients.

We have a Hobart based, entry level position available, ideal for someone looking to kick start their insurance career or seek a new experience that builds upon an existing administrative skillset!

What will the role look like?

• Provide data production and processing support to Underwriters and Management.
• Provide administrative assistance and support to Underwriters and Management with respect to reporting, finance, broker queries, or similar tasks as directed.
• Provide general office support as required around telephones, stationery, facilities etc. as required.
• Renewal Invitations to Brokers including follow ups, subjectivities and supporting documentation.
• Responding to queries from Brokers (under supervision).
• Quote and Policy register updates.
• Documentation generation including, but not limited to, reporting, schedules and CofCs.
• Answering on a rotating system.
• Assist Underwriters and Admin team where overflow exists at End of Month.
• Other basic functions as directed by team and management.
