Field Service Technician - Appliances

Our client is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of domestic and commercial washing and cleaning appliances. A high standard product requires high standard customer and technical service to match and to this end we are seeking quality Field Service Technicians to join their ranks in south-east Queensland.

As our client has a wide reach, applications are welcome from anywhere between the Sunshine and Gold Coasts. Your day-to-day duties revolve around working with domestic appliances in a range of customer settings. Responsibilities include:

• Installation of new machinery in the field, including kitchen, laundry and cleaning applications
• Provide initial user operation training as required
• Attending to breakdown situations
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Completion of required reports/paperwork

In order to thrive, our successful candidate will possess the following:

• A trade background in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline.
• A Restricted Electrical licence at a minimum
• Competency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery or appliances.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously to a high standard

Ideally you will have experience in appliances, however other trade experience (refrigeration, HVAC, gasfitting etc) will be considered as full product training will be provided.
