Driver/Forklift Operator

This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, reliable, and available at short notice. It offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience, work across a variety of tasks, and contribute to a dynamic logistics operation when support is needed.

As an experienced HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for local pickups and deliveries throughout the Cairns metro area, along with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight across our operations.

What You will be doing

✅ Local pickups and deliveries throughout the Cairns metro area using company-owned vehicles

✅ Loading and unloading a variety of freight, including:

• General freight
• Oversized freight
• Blended freight
• Long-length interstate freight

✅ Loading and unloading mezzanine trailers, linehaul trailers, local vehicles, and containers

✅ Manual handling duties

✅ Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard and work environment

What You will bring

✔ Current Forklift Licence (LF) - Required

✔ Current HR or MR Driver's Licence - Highly advantageous

✔ Ability to manually handle freight up to 20kg

✔ Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

✔ Ability to work independently and unsupervised

✔ A positive attitude and commitment to safety
