Part Time Delivery Driver/Warehouse assistant

About the role

Bliss Commercial is seeking a Part Time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team in Virginia, QLD 4014. This is a part-time position that combines delivery driving with warehouse support duties. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their products promptly and efficiently, whilst maintaining our warehouse operations to the highest standard. This role is essential to our logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and business success.

Key responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport products to customers within designated areas

• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, times, and any damages or discrepancies

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with products, ensuring items are properly secured and organised

• Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, and organizing stock items

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of both delivery vehicles and warehouse areas

• Communicate professionally with customers and address any delivery-related inquiries

• Follow all health and safety protocols and company procedures at all times

• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly

What we're looking for

• Current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role

• Experience working in a warehouse or fast-paced distribution environment

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry items regularly (up to 25 kg)

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work part-time hours as required

• Knowledge of local roads and navigation in the Virginia area (preferred)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
