About the Role JW Pty Ltd trading as Pinn’s Palaceis seeking a full-time Accountant (General) to provide internal accounting and financial-management support across Pinn’s Palace and its associated food and sports businesses.

The position will be based at the Pinn’s Palace office in Cannington.       Key Responsibilities Assist management in developing, implementing and maintaining financial, accounting and budgetary controls across the businesses. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets and cash-flow forecasts, and monitor actual performance against budgets.

  Analyse revenue, costs, margins and budget variances to identify opportunities for cost control, profitability improvement and operational efficiency.   Provide financial information, analysis and practical recommendations to management to support business planning and financial decision-making.   Review and improve accounting systems, POS integrations and internal financial controls to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency and asset protection.

  Prepare accounting records, reconciliations and working papers for external accountants and assist with the preparation of financial information required for reporting and compliance purposes.   Liaise with external accountants regarding BAS, GST, annual tax returns and other relevant taxation matters.   Perform and manage payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, debtor follow-up and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.

Monitor cash flow and working capital to support the business's ongoing financial stability.   About You

·  Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in an accounting role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Strong computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders Applicants must be able to work on-site at the Cannington office .
