Motorcycle Mechanic — Yamaha & Husqvarna Dealership | Morisset

Powersport Central is an authorized Yamaha and Husqvarna dealership on the M1 at Morisset, and our workshop is growing. We're after a qualified motorcycle mechanic to join a tight, well-run crew, someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be somewhere they're looked after and paid well for what they produce.

What you'll be doing
You'll service, diagnose and repair all makes and models, road and dirt, including warranty and scheduled work on Yamaha and Husqvarna as an authorized dealer. You'll work in a clean, well-equipped workshop with a service advisor who keeps the jobs flowing, so you can get on with the spanner work.

What we're after
A Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology (AUR30820) or equivalent trade qualification, and hands-on experience on modern fuel-injected bikes. Sound diagnostic skills and tidy work habits. If you've got Yamaha or Husqvarna training, EFI and scan-tool experience, or a dirt background, even better, but it's not a dealbreaker. Auto, marine or small-engine techs keen to cross into bikes, have a chat with us too.

The money
Base of $35 - $49/hr depending on experience, plus a monthly bonus on top of your billable hours, the more you produce, the more you take home. Super on top. We'll invest in your OEM training so you can climb the top of that range and stay there.

The rest of it
Full time, Monday to Friday with a rostered Saturday roster shared across the team (not every-weekend). Staff pricing on bikes, parts and gear. Team ride days and events that actually happen, not just words on a job ad. And direct access to the owner, because there's no corporate layer here, if something needs sorting, you talk to me.
