Yard Supervisor

Full-time: $40 Per Hour + overtime (30 minutes per day)

The Sleeper Hut Pty Ltd is a well‑established supplier of concrete sleeper retaining wall materials, servicing customers across Southeast Queensland. We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Yard Supervisor to lead our small team and keep our yard running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

About the Role

You will oversee day‑to‑day yard operations, working closely with a team of 2–3 staff. This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in a well‑organised yard, and communicates confidently with both customers and suppliers. Hours are between 7am-4pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small yard team in daily operations

• Load customer orders safely and accurately

• Organize incoming stock deliveries and maintain clear stock locations

• Keep the yard neat, safe, and efficient

• Operate forklifts and vehicles for loading/unloading

• Provide friendly, professional customer service

Requirements

• Current forklift licence

• Current Australian driver’s licence

• Good physical health

• Strong communication and people skills

• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
