Our client is seeking a casual staff member for a temporary light assembly role located in Braeside. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and build your skills in manufacturing and assembly.

About the Role
You will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components, performing quality checks, and meeting daily production targets. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work 5 days per week are essential. Experience using power tools will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Fabricate and assemble sub-assemblies and finished products to meet quality and quantity targets

• Complete ‘stock build’ orders from templates

• Safely operate hand and power tools

• Communicate effectively with team members and management (written and verbal)

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping

• Keep tools and instruments in safe and designated locations

• Follow quality policies and procedures

• Monitor and report on stock levels of components

• Follow all OH&S and WorkSafe guidelines

• Read and understand work instructions for tasks

About You

• Previous experience in light manufacturing or assembly work

• Confident using hand and power tools

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Physically fit for manual tasks

• Full Australian working rights
