About the role
Highly rewarding, Casual position available
Key aspects of the role include
You will provide quality support to our participants in an accommodation and community setting
Promoting participants choice and control in their daily activities
Following behaviour support plans to support participants live more independently
Driving participants to community events, Dr appointments, shopping etc.
Assisting our participants to realise their goals in their NDIS plans
Our requirements
Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 and above) and access to a car
A good understanding of person-centred active support or willingness to embrace this model of support
Be comfortable supporting adult clients with intellectual/physical disabilities and mental health diagnoses
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
Must live in the Newcastle and Hunter Region
