About the role
Are you an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys solving practical problems, coordinating people and improving the way sites operate?
About the Role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in keeping a diverse research and operational site running safely and effectively. This is an opportunity to take ownership of maintenance programs, coordinate practical infrastructure improvements and see the direct results of your work across buildings, plant, equipment and site services.
Working closely with the Site Manager, researchers, technical teams, contractors and suppliers, you will plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance, manage site contracts and support refurbishments, relocations and equipment replacement. You will also help manage the annual maintenance budget and provide practical advice on current and future infrastructure needs.
No two days will be exactly the same. You may be coordinating contractors, inspecting equipment, preparing a scope of works, resolving an urgent breakdown or planning an improvement that strengthens site safety and reliability. The role also undertakes minor maintenance tasks where appropriate, providing a balance of practical involvement, coordination and forward planning.
This is a role where your judgement and organisation will make a visible difference to the people who rely on the site and the important research and operational work undertaken there.
About You
You are a practical, safety-focused maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems and taking responsibility for seeing work through. You are equally comfortable inspecting an issue onsite, coordinating contractors and preparing the documentation needed to deliver work safely, efficiently and within budget.
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
