Caldwell Electrical Services is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs to our diverse client base. What you'll be doing

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings

• Reading and interpreting electrical plans, blueprints and technical drawings

• Testing electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations

• Troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing problems efficiently

• Performing routine maintenance on electrical installations and systems

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations

• Communicating effectively with clients regarding project requirements and timelines

• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used

• Operating electrical tools and equipment safely and responsibly

• Collaborating with other team members and trades professionals on site

What we're looking for

• A current, valid electrical licence appropriate to the work being undertaken

• Proven experience working as a qualified Electrician in the trades industry

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and installation practices

• Competency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation

• A solid understanding of electrical safety standards, codes and regulations

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

• A valid driver's licence and Construction Industry White card

• A commitment to workplace health and safety

• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training
