The OpportunityJoin UniSC’s Academic Support Unit (ASU) and play an important role in supporting high-quality Honours and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) experiences across the University.In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support across the Honours and HDR student lifecycle, working closely with students, academic supervisors, coordinators and professional teams. You will coordinate key program activities, support students and maintain efficient processes, contributing to a positive student experience.You willcoordinate key administrative activities across the Honours and HDR student lifecycle, supporting students, supervisors and coordinators from engagement and enrolment through to completion;provide high-quality administrative support for Honours and HDR processes, including academic progress monitoring, oral presentations, examinations, funding support, honorarium payments, records and reporting; andcontribute to continuous improvement across systems, processes, resources and stakeholder communications to enhance service delivery and support positive student outcomes.
About youYou are a highly organised and service-focused administrator with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You enjoy working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and can confidently navigate complex processes, systems and policy requirements. You exercise sound judgement, communicate effectively and take a proactive approach to improving the way work is delivered.You will possess:A degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and demonstrated administrative experience;Strong commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused service and supporting positive outcomes for students and stakeholders;Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and deadlines effectively;Experience collating and analysing data and information to produce accurate reports, with strong attention to detail and data integrity;Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, exercise sound judgement, use initiative and handle sensitive matters with discretion; andAdvanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
