About the role

Better Built Sheds Mackay is looking for hardworking and skilled Shed Erectors to join our team in Mackay, QLD on a full-time basis. As a Shed Erector, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of our high-quality sheds at customer sites across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly

• Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble shed frames, cladding, and accessories

• Work as part of a team to complete installations in a timely and professional manner

• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process

• Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the installation

• Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect yourself and others on site

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Shed Erector or similar construction role

• Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical plans

• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools common in the construction industry

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A current driver's licence and reliable transportation

• Commitment to workplace health and safety
