Food Service Assistant (Aged Care)

Join Maddocks Gardens and help deliver safe, high-quality meal services that support the health and wellbeing of older people in our care. As a Food Services Assistant, you'll work as part of a supportive team to provide an enjoyable dining experience for residential aged care residents.

About the Role: 

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages to residents.
• Assist with meal delivery and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation and service areas.
• Follow food safety, infection control and OH&S standards.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents.

The Contract: Ongoing Part Time | 40 hours per fortnight.

Rotating roster across 7 days, with shifts of 0700–1430 and 1530–2000

Skills & Experience:

• Current Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• Food preparation or food service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Passion for supporting older people in aged care.
