About the role

Retail Store Manager at Brothers Grocery & Meats, a well-established retail grocery and meat store located in Rothwell, Queensland. You will lead store operations and drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the grocery and meat retail store

• Plan and oversee stock purchasing, inventory control, and supplier relationships

• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability

• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage store employees

• Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels

• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints

• Develop and implement promotional and merchandising activities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and retail regulations

• Monitor store budgets, expenses, and financial performance

• Analyse sales reports and market trends to support business growth

About you

• Relevant qualification in business, retail management, or a related field; and/or at least one year of relevant experience in retail management

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Sound understanding of retail operations, stock control, and budgeting

• Ability to work independently and meet business objectives
