About the role
The Disability Support Worker role at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) exists to provide high-quality, person-centred support to people with disability. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to live as independently as possible by helping them achieve their goals and supporting their day-to-day wellbeing, dignity and quality of life.
About the ClientsOur Elanora Heights group home is home to several male clients who have lived together for a long time. They have a strong bond and are a happy, fun and engaging group.
We are looking for one dedicated Disability Support Practitioner (DSP) to join our Accommodation and Respite service at our Elanora Heights group home.
This is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity, offering approximately 20 hours per week across a variety of shifts.
As a Disability Support Worker in a CPA SIL home, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support in a domestic setting, helping clients live as independently as possible while supporting their individual needs, choices and goals.
An Active & Social HomeThis is an active household, and the clients enjoy getting out into the community and participating in a range of activities.

We are looking for someone with the right energy and enthusiasm for this environment. You should genuinely enjoy being active, getting involved and supporting clients to participate in activities - including being willing and comfortable to get in the pool with clients when required.
