Project Manager - Food Solutions

Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with the extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art cattle feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries globally.

What you’ll be doing

Based at our Processing Plant in Grantham, you'll drive NPD projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring the best ideas to market — on time, to spec, and aligned with commercial goals. You'll also manage our innovation funnel, helping prioritise concepts and keep momentum across the pipeline.

• Lead NPD projects end-to-end — planning, timelines, approvals, financial assessment, and compliance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to hit project milestones
• Manage the stage-gate process, ensuring projects are reviewed, optimised, and prioritised
• Report progress to senior management and keep stakeholders engaged
• Champion a culture of innovation across the business
• Support product development, reformulation, and technical trials as needed

What you'll bring

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Food Science, or related field
• 5+ years' experience in innovation management
• Experience managing NPD or innovation projects in food (beef or FMCG)
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering business outcomes
• Familiarity with stage-gate, agile, or similar innovation frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
• Highly organised, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
