Home Care Worker (Aged) - Avondale Heights

Are you an Aged Care or Disability-qualified worker seeking employment in the local Avondale Heights area for respite/community access/companionship support, 4-hours a week for a female client?

Example: 2 x 2 hour blocks

Monday to Friday between 9:00am - 3:00pm

The client only speaks Vietnamese; candidates are preferred to speak and understand Vietnamese. 

Tasks include accompanying her to the park, to a café, out for lunch, to the zoo, etc, for community access

Client requires someone with patience, great communication skills, and reliability. Building a relationship with this client and allowing them to feel comfortable is essential.

We are seeking Home Care Workers to care for our client in Avondale Heights and the local area.

Hourly rate starting at $35+ per hour (casual), increasing with experience and qualifications.

Services Required to Provide:

• Domestic Assistance
• Community Acces
• Transportation
• Respite Care

 Requirements: 

• Certificate III in Individual Support / Community Care / Aged Care / Disability or equivalent
• MUST have a current Victorian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
• MUST have a clear National Police Check, within the last 2 years.
• MUST have an NDIS Workers Check
• Consistent availability (same days/times every week or fortnight)
• Have a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Smart mobile phone
• Computer literacy and the ability to access emails
• We are only seeking candidates who reside within a 20-minute drive of the area.
• Understand and speak Vietnamese and English.
