Apprentice Carpenter – 1st to 4th Year

We are looking for an Apprentice Carpenter to join our team for ongoing full-time work across Canberra.

2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices are highly encouraged to apply, however we are also interested in taking on a 1st year apprentice who has the right attitude and is keen to learn the trade.

Our work is predominantly new residential construction, covering all aspects of carpentry, with some renovation work from time to time.

About the role

● Full-time, ongoing work

● All aspects of residential carpentry

● Predominantly new builds with some renovation work

● Work throughout Canberra and surrounding areas

● Opportunity to develop your skills across different areas of the trade

● Pay based on apprenticeship level, experience, ability and tools

What we’re looking for

● 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice carpenter

● 2nd–4th year apprentices preferred

● White Card required

● Asbestos Awareness Card required

● Current driver’s licence

● Reliable transport

● Reliable and punctual

● Good attitude and willingness to learn

● Takes pride in their work and the quality they produce

● Able to work well within a team

● Ability to work independently is a bonus

● Own tools are an advantage, particularly for later-year apprentices
