Are you an experienced Asbestos Removalist/Labourer looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and safety-focused Asbestos Removalists/Labourers to join our team and work across high-profile commercial, industrial and remediation projects in Darwin and surrounding areas.

A current Class B Asbestos Removal Licence is essential for this position. A Class A licence is highly desirable.

This is a casual position with the potential for ongoing work and a full-time opportunity for the right person.

About the Role

Working as part of our project teams, you will be involved in asbestos removal, site preparation, remediation and general labouring activities across a variety of projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely removing, handling and disposing of asbestos-containing materials in accordance with legislation, regulations and company procedures.

• Assisting with site preparation, containment and decontamination activities.

• Supporting asbestos remediation and environmental clean-up works.

• Assisting with demolition, strip-out and general labouring activities as required.

• Using tools and equipment safely and appropriately within your level of training and competency.

• Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas.

• Following all WHS procedures, SWMS, site requirements and safety protocols.

• Working collaboratively with supervisors and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

• Undertaking other general labouring duties as required.

• Regional and remote project work may be required from time to time.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Class B Asbestos Removal Licence – ESSENTIAL.

• Class A Asbestos Removal Licence – highly desirable.

• Previous experience in asbestos removal, demolition, remediation or construction.

• Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Ability to follow instructions, procedures and site-specific safety requirements.

• Reliable work ethic and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour and asbestos removal duties.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Clearance and National Police Check, as required for relevant projects and sites.

• Current driver's licence is desirable.
