The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Marine Engineer Class 3 who has relevant experience performing general Engineer duties on-board marine assets engaged in inshore towage and barge work. The position is to provide relief work, working on a variety of vessels including Tug/Multicat and Transhipper.

Key Requirements

• Appropriate sea-going experience as MEC 3 engineer on Tug/Multicat or Transhipper

• AMSA Marine Engineer Class 3 or above

• AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness

• MSIC

• Certificate of Safety Training (STCW)

• Senior First Aid

• Commitment to health, safety, community, and environment

• Experience in operating under Safety Management Systems, Planned Maintenance Systems

Applicants holding any of the following tickets will be highly regarded

• Free fall life boat passenger or operator

• High Risk Licence with Dogging, Rigging, Elevated Work Platform, CV / CN

• Confined Space Certificate

Role Conditions

• Roster – as required

• FIFO ex Perth Domestic Airport, Western Australia.

• Remuneration as per the Total AMS Industry Resource Agreement 2014
