About the Team
Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets.
The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
About the Opportunity
Lead and supervise a multi-skilled delivery works group to
maintain a safe and reliable railway network Port Botany to Yanderra. Ensure mandatory systematic inspection, examination,
condition monitoring and functional checks on the rail infrastructure are
conducted and take appropriate action to ensure rail infrastructure is in a
safe operational condition, including recording, reporting and prioritisation
of defective infrastructure to maintain a valid defect recording system and
work management system.
