Foreman

About the role

This is an active leadership position. Black Fox Industries is a commercial concrete company looking for an experienced Foreman to oversee civil, industrial, and commercial projects throughout South East QLD. You will be a hands-on leader who prefers running jobs from the front line, taking complete ownership of the site and taking serious pride in your work.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• QA all completed works
• Manage and coordinate site activities from commencement through to completion
• Supervise and lead employees, subcontractors, and site crews
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to budget
• Liaise with builders, project managers, suppliers, and other trades
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
• Organise labour, materials, and equipment requirements
• Monitor and enforce workplace health and safety requirements
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively

About you

• Carpenters or Concreters background welcome to apply
• Versatile on-site experience across civil, commercial, and industrial environments
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with employees, clients, subcontractors, and management
• Able to set out slab edge boards shutters rebates stairs when required
• Total Station experience is desirable but not essential
• Accountable team player who can problem solve on the fly
