About The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Rugby League Football Manager to lead, manage and be responsible for the leadership, management and administration of all rugby league operations within Mounties Group.
The role will oversee the day-to-day delivery of rugby league programs, including training, match operations, competitions and pathway initiatives, while working closely with the Mounties Juniors Sub Clubs to maintain an aligned player pathway that supports the growth, development and progression of players
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Lead and manage all Mounties Rugby League operations, programs and personnel.Oversee coaching, recruitment, player retention and talent identification initiatives.Coordinate training, match-day operations, competitions and representative programs.Manage budgets, forecasting, equipment, apparel and football-related logistics.Support player welfare and progression through the Mounties Rugby League pathway.Develop and maintain relationships with key rugby league stakeholders and pathway partners.Ensure compliance with NSWRL regulations, registrations, contracts and competition requirements.Collaborate with Marketing to promote rugby league programs, fixtures and events.Provide regular operational and performance reporting to the GM – Pathways.Oversee the presentation and maintenance of rugby league facilities and resources.
About You
To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:
Proven leadership experience within a sporting, football or high-performance environment.Strong people management and team development skills.Relevant tertiary qualification in Sports Management, Business or a related discipline is highly regardedCurrent Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willing to obtainCurrent Drivers LicenceExcellent planning, organisational and time management capabilities.Experience in budget preparation, forecasting and financial management.Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.Contract management experience.The ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.A passion for developing athletes and creating sustainable player pathways.
