About us
Founded by the Harry Perkins Institute, Linear Clinical Research is at the forefront of human breakthroughs, contributing to scientific discovery and advancement through world-leading clinical human trials and medical research. Our state-of-the-art Advanced Clinical Trials Centre opened in early 2024 at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is home to our Cancer Trials Unit (CTU) and is the first of its kind facility in Australia dedicated to bringing novel therapies through clinical trials to the cancer patients of WA.
This is a full-time position, based at Hampden House in Nedlands.
Your Role in Our Future
As Budget and Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for the administrative review, negotiation, and acceptance of contracts and budgets for clinical trial studies across the Advanced Clinical Trial Centre (ACTC).
This role focuses on supporting clinical trial project set-up, contract and budget management, project billing, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trial studies.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Process participant payments and reimbursements
- Raise purchase orders and manage vendor records.
- Maintain accurate financial and contract documentation.
- Support the preparation and administration of trial contracts and agreements.
- Provide administrative support to ensure clinical trial projects run smoothly.
Your Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have experience supporting project planning and administration, including reviewing budgets, contractual agreements, and scopes of work, while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
You must also be able to demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and experience supporting invoicing, billing, and payment tracking processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders while maintaining clear communication.
- Strong computer skills and experience using ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
