Mechanical Fitters

Looking for your next challenge in industrial maintenance? AWE & Dulux is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their Merrifield manufacturing facility.
 
You will play a key role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and operational.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Fault-finding and repairs on pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixers and conveyors.
• Replace bearings, seals, shafts, couplings and other mechanical components.
• Preventative maintenance and servicing of production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and complete mechanical repairs to minimise downtime.
• Fabrication, fitting and installation of pipework, guards, brackets and plant equipment.

 Requirements:

• EWP over 11M (desirable)
• Confined space ticket (desirable)
• Valid Australian Working Rights.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence. 
• Australian Trade qualification in Engineering or Mechanical Fitting.
• High level of documentation, discipline and compliance awareness.
• Working in previous environments like FMCG, Beverage and food production, conveyors, palletisers, and robots is highly desirable.
