Our centre is a 36-place service located in a beautiful, brand new estate, catering for children aged 6 weeks to school age. It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and premium, brand new educational resources, with a drive to become an Exceeding-rated service. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Diploma Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality education and care. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and innovative environment.

As an integral member of our team, you will:
🌱 Build strong, nurturing relationships with children
📘 Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
🛡️ Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for both children and staff
💡 Embed the service’s philosophy into daily practice and decision-making
🤝 Communicate effectively with families about their child’s daily experiences and development
📝 Maintain accurate observations and documentation of each child’s learning journey and progress

To be successful in this role, you will have (or be willing to obtain) the following:

Diploma and or ECT in Early Childhood Education and Care
A valid Working With Children Check
A current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
A solid understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including:
  • National Regulations
  • National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully within a team environment
A strong understanding of the importance of family engagement and communication
A commitment to supporting the holistic development of every child in your care
