Implementation Consultant

About the role

This is a customer facing role with a blend of technical and soft skills required, including consulting, project management, business analysis, enterprise software technical expertise and support. Implementation support involves engaging with customers to understand their business requirements, configuring solutions, assisting with the addition of new product features, writing and executing test plans and quality assurance, providing test and system integration support. Product support is delivered through our web-based support portal (Freshdesk) and involves managing and responding to queries and change requests from customers, identifying issues, building test cases, scripting database configuration changes and delivering technical details of solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analysing customers' business processes and challenges
• Working with our development team to add new features to the product
• Designing and configuring a package that will meet our clients' requirements
• Writing automated software tests
• Supporting our clients through their testing stages, Go Live, and in production
• Delivering world class customer service
• Triaging queries and change requests from customers via our web-based support portal (Freshdesk)
• Providing prompt responses and timely solutions to support tickets
• Completing the above efficiently and accurately with a multitude of AI tooling

About you

• 2+ years previous experience in financial services sectors e.g. superannuation, investment administration, unit pricing, fund administration or fund accounting
• Essential that the candidate is self-motivated and can work on their own initiative
• Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
• Highly numerate
• Reliable, dependable and with a strong work ethic
• Organised with the ability to prioritise
• Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Tech savvy: Ability to keep up with the latest software trends and strong at technical troubleshooting
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also to problem solve autonomously where it is required
• SQL database queries and/or high-level Excel skills
• Must have permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions
• Fluent spoken and excellent written English essential
• College Degree or Professional Qualification in one of the following disciplines is a minimum requirement: Finance/Accounting/Investments/Actuarial, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or Business
