THE OPPORTUNITY

Ready to take your foodservice sales career to the next level?

We’re looking for an energetic and driven Area Sales Representative to grow our presence across VIC & TAS. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with foodservice sales experience who wants to expand beyond end-user selling and develop their skills in distributor and key account management.

You’ll take ownership of your territory, build strong customer relationships, win new business, and help put Hakka products on more menus across Australia.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Foodservice Sales Manager (VIC/TAS), your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong partnerships with foodservice end users including pubs, clubs, restaurants, caterers, universities, hospitals and other HORECA customers
• Developing productive relationships with foodservice distributors
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
• Conducting product demonstrations, menu presentations, tastings and trade events
• Training customers on product preparation, application and key selling features
• Managing your territory to deliver sales growth and market penetration targets

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about food, enjoy building relationships and thrive in a customer-facing environment.

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Minimum 2 years Foodservice Sales experience
• Proven experience selling to foodservice end users
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
• A desire to progress into key account and distributor management
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Confidence presenting and cooking food products for customers
• Ability to handle and present pork and beef products
• A valid VIC Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel throughout your territory
