As a family-owned early learning centre, we're committed to providing exceptional care, education and nutrition for every child. We're now looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook/Chef to lead our onsite commercial kitchen.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for preparing healthy and delicious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for up to 79 children each day, from babies through to kindergarten.

You'll also:

• Plan nutritious menus in line with Nutrition Australia guidelines

• Cater for allergies and individual dietary requirements

• Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards

• Order stock and manage kitchen supplies

• Keep the kitchen organised, efficient and cost-effective

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Loves preparing fresh, nutritious food

• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

• Has a strong understanding of food safety practices

• Can confidently cater for dietary requirements and allergies

• Works well independently and manages their time effectively

Essential Requirements

• Food Supervisor Certificate

• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain before commencing)

• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to complete before commencing)

Commercial kitchen experience is highly regarded but not essential.
