About the RoleHelp shape the future of one of Queensland's fastest-growing regional communities.Reporting to the Manager Strategic Planning and Growth, you'll lead Council's Growth Management Program, delivering strategic planning initiatives that support housing, infrastructure and sustainable regional development.
DutiesLead Council's Growth Management Strategy and major planning projectsDeliver structure planning, land supply and growth sequencing initiativesProvide expert advice on strategic planning and development outcomesBuild partnerships with government agencies, developers and industry stakeholdersManage consultants and deliver projects on time and within budget
Skills & ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you'll bring:Degree in Urban Planning, Development Management or a related disciplineExperience in growth management, strategic planning or land use planningExperience developing Master Plans and negotiating Infrastructure AgreementsStrong knowledge of Queensland planning legislationCurrent Queensland C Class Driver Licence or ability to obtain one
