The Advanced Tree Company, a leading wholesale tree nursery located in Mornington, is seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Team Leader to join our growing team.

About the Role: As our Nursery Team Leader, you will lead and support a small team of nursery staff, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of nursery staff.

• Plan and coordinate daily work schedules and task allocation.

• Oversee pruning, shaping, staking, and tying of trees to ensure healthy growth and quality presentation.

• Monitor irrigation, plant health, and general nursery maintenance.

• Train new team members and provide ongoing support.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures.

• Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and productivity throughout the nursery.

• Work closely with management to meet production targets and continuously improve nursery operations.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a wholesale nursery, horticulture, or landscaping environment.

• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team.

• Sound knowledge of tree care, pruning, and nursery practices.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• A current Australian driver's licence.

• A qualification in horticulture is highly regarded but not essential.
