Senior Business Analyst - Strategic Delivery

Our client, St Vincent De Paul Society is building a new Strategic Delivery capability and is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work alongside the Head of Strategic Delivery in shaping, mobilising and delivering enterprise-wide initiatives. This is a newly created role that will play a key part in helping the organisation define priorities, improve operations and deliver meaningful change across a complex and diverse environment.

This is not a traditional requirements-focused BA role. We are looking for someone who can step into ambiguity, connect the dots across multiple business areas, bring structure to undefined problems and help leaders move from ideas to action. The role will operate across a portfolio of strategic projects, working closely with executives, operational leaders and corporate functions to identify opportunities, align stakeholders and drive practical outcomes.

About the Role
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Lead discovery activities across strategic, operational and transformation initiatives
• Map and analyse current-state operating models, processes and ways of working
• Facilitate future-state design and business improvement opportunities
• Engage with stakeholders across diverse business units to gather insights, challenge thinking and build alignment
• Develop business cases, options analyses and executive-ready recommendations
• Translate unclear problems into defined scopes, priorities and delivery plans
• Support strategic initiatives from concept through to mobilisation and execution
• Identify opportunities for automation, digital enablement and AI adoption where appropriate
• Provide leadership and guidance to future BA resources as the capability expands

About You
You are an experienced Senior BA who understands how organisations work end-to-end and can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders.

Your Experience

• 7+ years' experience in Business Analysis, Consulting or Transformation roles
• Strong current-state and future-state analysis capability
• Experience working across complex transformation, business improvement or strategic initiatives
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity where requirements, scope or priorities are not yet defined
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Strong commercial and analytical thinking with the ability to develop practical recommendations
• Experience influencing executive and senior leadership stakeholders
• A systems-thinking mindset and the ability to understand impacts across people, process, technology and governance

Experience within not-for-profit, member-based, federated or complex operating environments will be highly regarded.
