Day Shift Factory Worker

• Day shift role working 8am to 4pm

Chai Me is one of the leading chai companies in Australia, responsible for the manufacture and distribution of many well-known and loved Australian products including Chai Me syrups and Cocoda drinking chocolate.

Our Seven Hills factory has several opportunities on offer for experienced and technically competent individuals to join our manufacturing team as Production Operators. 

Our ideal candidate will be able to:

• operate processing and/or packaging equipment in line with safety and quality protocols

• willingness to perform packing duties as per production requirements at any given time

• apply technical knowledge to achieve production output and line speed targets

• locate root cause of a problem and generate data/ideas and solutions for action

• obtain, process and share relevant information with teams as appropriate

• willingness to up-skill and work in different machine operating roles as needed

• driving licence

• Have experience operating liquid filling and / or powder filling equipment

To be successful in this role our ideal candidates will have:

• experience working in FMCG will be highly regarded (2+ years)

• high safety, quality and GMP awareness

• strong mechanical aptitude

• a willingness to undertake physical work ( able to lift 25kgs )

• good verbal and written communication skills

• the ability to contribute as a member of the team and autonomously

• flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and work additional hours

• Experience using forklift/walkie reach

• Picking Packing experience
