About the Role

RKL Lawyers & Consultants is seeking a motivated and personable Lawyer with experience across commercial, property and/or estates law, with a minimum of 2 years’ post-admission experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to broaden their experience across a diverse range of matters while working closely with clients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers hands-on responsibility, autonomy over files and exposure to commercial, property, wills and estates,and general practice matters.

Our practice spans a broad range of areas including commercial law, property law, family law, wills and estates and litigation and dispute resolution. We pride ourselves on delivering personalised service and high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and advise on commercial and retail leases, including negotiations, renewals and variations

• Assist with business sales and acquisitions, shareholder agreements and other commercial transactions

• Prepare wills, powers of attorney and estate planning documents

• Assist with estate administration and probate matters

• Work on general commercial disputes, debt recovery and litigation matters

• Maintain carriage of files from commencement through to completion

• Liaise effectively with clients, agents, barristers and other stakeholders

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years post-admission experience in commercial, property and/or estate's law

• Experience in wills and estates, conveyancing and litigation matters will be highly regarded

• Strong drafting, file management and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritise effectively

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
