Due to continued growth across our business, we now have a great opportunity available for an experienced Plant Fitter to join our high performing team in Greenacre.
Your primary responsibility in this role will be to manage and carry out repairs and maintenance of our Greeenacre Asphalt Plant. This role will require you to be available to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends and be available to travel to various Asphalt plants across the NSW region to support operational requirements.
Your day will involve:
Working independently, consulting with Asset and Production teams on prioritization of tasksEnsure that the manufacturing plant complies with relevant safety standardsEnsure equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard for operational purposes and to allow the business to meet objectivesComplete programmed maintenance tasksEnsure all relevant permits and safety paperwork is in place before commencement of tasksContractor & labour supervision onsiteComplete daily plant inspectionsMonitoring plant equipment for any defectsAvailable to participate in plant shutdown programs
What are we looking for?
Trade Qualified FitterPrevious maintenance fitter experience in a fixed plant environmentStrong welding and fabrication skills and knowledgeExperience replacing motors, gear boxes and bearingsAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong commitment to all areas of safetyStrong written and verbal communications skillsEnjoy developing and maintaining strong working relationshipsAvailable to work across day and night shifts as required
