Clinical Nurse – Continence Advisor

• Temporary Part-Time | 30.4 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
• 24-month contract | September 2026 – September 2028
• RN/M2 | $90,913 - $114,917 p.a. (pro rata)

About The Role

Join Country Health Connect as a Clinical Nurse – Continence Advisor, providing specialist nursing services to clients in the community in the areas of continence and stomal therapy.

In this predominantly clinical role, you will provide proficient, person-centred nursing care and individual case management, assessing client needs, implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions and monitoring outcomes. You will coordinate services across multidisciplinary teams while supporting evidence-based practice, quality improvement and continuity of care.

You will also provide clinical leadership, education and guidance to students and less experienced nursing staff, while contributing your specialist knowledge and experience to service improvement, clinical projects and professional practice across Community Nursing.

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrated competence in continence nursing practice and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in the community. You bring strong communication and clinical decision-making skills, work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and are confident providing leadership, education and support to less experienced staff.

To succeed in the Clinical Nurse – Continence Advisor role, you will:

• Be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
• Have at least three years' full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
• Demonstrate competence in continence nursing practice in accordance with appropriate standards of practice.
• Bring effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Have experience providing leadership and direction to student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses.

Country Health Connect Community Nursing provides community-based nursing services across the Limestone Coast. As part of the Community Nursing team, you will work collaboratively with nursing and multidisciplinary health professionals, as well as government and non-government organisations, to support the needs of clients across the region.

Conditions of Employment

• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
• A current Working with Children Check (DHS) is required.
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• A current SA Driver's Licence is required.
• Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
• SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
