About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Section Waiter to join our casual team. In this role, you are the heart of the guest experience, responsible for delivering professional service from greeting to farewell. You will work closely with your leaders and the broader Front of House and kitchen teams to ensure every guest enjoys a well-organized and welcoming dining experience according to the ‘7 Alfred Way.’

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional service to all guests in alignment with venue standards.
• Manage a dining section efficiently, ensuring food and drinks are served with care and accuracy.
• Maintain high attention to detail during busy service periods to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and floor teams to maintain a positive work environment.
• Represent the 7 Alfred brand by delivering hospitality with heart and energy.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a high-standard, busy restaurant or café environment.
• Previous experience in fine dining is highly regarded.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage; specific wine knowledge is a significant advantage.
• Ability to stay calm and think quickly under the pressure of a fast-paced service.
• A commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and high-quality guest care.
• Valid Australian residency or a Visa with full working rights.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
