Support Worker - Complex Care

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team supporting a client located in Northbridge. We are offering permanent part time contracts. This role involves working with a client with complex support needs and requires confident, skilled workers who are comfortable with personal care, manual handling, and managing challenging behaviours.

What is involved:

• A person-centered approach in guiding, coaching and supporting.
• Manual handling and hoisting
• Managing complex and difficult behaviours
• Community participation support
• Transporting client in a van
• Working in Northbridge

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Support Worker or Care Worker
• Proven experience supporting clients with complex needs
• Strong manual handling and hoisting experience
• Experience managing challenging behaviours
• Excellent English communication skills
• Valid driver’s licence and confidence driving vans
• Reliability and commitment to rostered shifts
