About The Opportunity 

We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Site Supervisor to join the Resource Development team. This role is responsible for leading site crews undertaking drill pad construction, access preparation and rehabilitation works in steep and challenging terrain.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily earthworks activities, including drill pad construction and rehabilitation.
• Lead operators working with Cat D9 dozers, Cat 336 excavators and ancillary equipment.
• Plan daily work activities and allocate personnel and equipment effectively.
• Conduct pre-start meetings, workplace inspections and task risk assessments.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with project procedures and client requirements.
• Monitor productivity, equipment utilisation and quality of completed works.
• Coordinate with the client, project management, HSE and maintenance teams.
• Complete daily reports, timesheets and other required project documentation.
• Provide practical leadership, coaching and support to the workforce.
• Identify and manage changing ground, weather and operational conditions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supervising mining or civil earthworks crews.
• Strong experience in drill pad construction and rehabilitation.
• Proven knowledge of working with heavy earthmoving equipment in steep terrain.
• Strong safety leadership and the ability to manage operational risks.
• Effective communication, planning and team leadership skills.
• Relevant supervisory and operating qualifications.
• Current Australian driver’s licence; HR licence preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, site-based environment.
