Centre Director - Full-Time Permanent

Your role

This is an extremely rare opportunity for an experienced Centre Director to lead this beautiful large centre. The successful candidate must have the ability to guide, mentor and empower the staffing team as well as the ability to identify and nurture each staff member’s individual strengths.  You will lead teams to create innovative and exciting, high quality learning programs and build their reflective practices whilst demonstrating that you are highly organised, approachable and flexible.

As a Centre Director, your core responsibilities will include the following

• Lead day-to-day operations, creating a positive, enriching environment for children.

• Support and mentor a dedicated team of educators, promoting a collaborative team environment.

• Maintain high-level compliance with all regulatory requirements under the National Quality Framework.

• Build strong relationships with families, children and the wider community.

• Manage continuous professional development and educator performance.

• Ensure smooth operations that align with the centre’s business goals.

To succeed in this role, you will need

• A Bachelor Degree or be an experienced Diploma

• Hands-on experience running a large centre at Director level, minimum of 3 years in a management/leadership position

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as office admin skills

• Extensive knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and A&R process
