Yard Supervisor

Based in Yatala on the Gold Coast and with manufacturing and distribution sites in the USA and Europe, we are one of the largest fibreglass pool manufacturers globally, exporting pools around the world.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to lead our yard operations and ensure the safe, efficient loading and distribution of swimming pools and associated equipment across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, and export markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced logistics, transport, or yard operations professional who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving operational excellence.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our yard, ensuring pools are safely loaded, quality checked, detailed, and dispatched on schedule. You will lead a team of yard personnel while maintaining high standards of safety, organisation, and customer-focused service.

You will play a critical role in ensuring we deliver a perfect pool every time and that all transport, safety, and quality requirements are consistently achieved.

·         Lead and supervise daily yard operations and yard personnel to ensure safe and efficient workflows.

·         Coordinate the loading and dispatch of pools and associated equipment in accordance with delivery schedules.

·         Oversee WH&S compliance and maintain safety reporting and corrective actions through SafeX.

·         Ensure compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Law, load restraint requirements, and safe loading practices.

·         Work closely with Planning and Logistics teams to ensure customer deliveries are completed on time.

·         Mentor, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance and safety standards.

You are a practical and proactive leader who leads by example and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised, and high-performing work environment. You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring every pool dispatched meets the highest standards.

·         Minimum 3–4 years' experience in a logistics, transport, or supervisory role.

·         Current Forklift Licence.

·         Current CN or C6 Crane Licence (preferred but not essential)

·         Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

·         Excellent organisational and communication skills.

·         High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

·         Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
