2 Nights a week 10pm–6.30am

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Oceanfront Cairns is a well-regarded hotel on the Esplanade and we're looking for a reliable Night Porter to join our team. This isn't your average night job, it comes with a fully furnished on-site room included in the package, making it an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to live in Cairns and earn well while they're at it.

You'll be the face of the hotel overnight, keeping things running smoothly, looking after our guests, and keeping an eye on the property including our Reef Motel.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Welcoming late-arriving guests and managing after-hours check-ins

Providing excellent guest service throughout the night — handling requests, queries and any issues that arise

Conducting regular security rounds of the property, including the Reef Motel

Monitoring the property overnight, keeping an eye on entrances, communal areas, and guest wellbeing

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

– A people person, warm, friendly, and confident dealing with guests at all hours – Reliable and responsible — someone the team can trust to hold the fort overnight – Calm under pressure — able to handle the occasional challenging situation with professionalism.

Previous hotel, hospitality, or security experience is a bonus but not essential – Happy to live on-site and genuinely commit to the overnight role. Full Australian working rights required
