Baresque Australia
About the role
Facilities & Operations Support Manager
Baresque is a global leader in commercial interior solutions, creating innovative products and spaces for workplaces, hospitality, healthcare, education, and public environments. We believe great businesses are built on great people, and we're proud of our collaborative culture and strong values.
We're looking for an experienced Facilities & IT Support Manager to take ownership of the services, systems and environments that keep our Australian business running smoothly.
About the Role
This is a broad and influential role responsible for the leadership of Baresque Australia's facilities, workplace services and operational support functions. Acting as a trusted partner to the GM Australian Operations & Global IT, you'll lead supplier relationships, manage facilities and operational projects, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure our employees have the environment, tools and support they need to perform at their best.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the management of Baresque's facilities and workplace operations nationally, ensuring our sites are safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose.
Manage key supplier, contractor and service provider relationships, overseeing contracts, performance, renewals and operational budgets.
Provide oversight of IT support services, technology assets and business continuity activities, acting as the primary liaison with our US-based IT service provider.
Drive workplace improvement and facilities projects, delivering initiatives that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.
Champion WHS, compliance and workplace governance standards across facilities and support services.
Partner with the GM Australian Operations & Global IT on business priorities and strategic initiatives, providing operational leadership and project support.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen service delivery, streamline processes and support business growth.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications in Business Administration, Facilities Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in facilities management, workplace operations or a similar operational leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing contractors, suppliers, service agreements and operational budgets.
Experience overseeing workplace services, facilities projects and compliance requirements.
Experience managing external IT providers and coordinating technology support services.
Strong project management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
Experience supporting WHS, risk management and workplace compliance activities.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
Why Join Baresque?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible function that has a direct impact on employee experience and operational performance.
You'll join a collaborative and supportive team, work closely with senior leaders, and play a key role in shaping the way our workplaces and support services operate into the future. Whether you're leading a facilities upgrade, improving workplace systems or driving efficiencies across the business, you'll have the autonomy and scope to make a real difference.
If you're a practical leader who enjoys creating great workplaces, building strong partnerships and delivering operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
