The Cancer Council NSW
About the role
About us
Cancer Council NSW (CCNSW) is a community funded and focused not for profit. We are the largest cancer charity in NSW and our point of difference is that we work across every area of every cancer, from research right through to support.
At CCNSW we understand that nothing feels better than doing work you really care about. As Australia’s leading organisation supporting all people impacted by all cancers, we understand how good it feels to make a difference. We know that almost 1 in 2 Australians are affected by cancer during their lifetime, by joining the passionate team at CCNSW you’ll know that each day the work you’re doing will positively impact people in your life and Australia.
About the team/About the role:
The Information Technology Division plans, builds and runs the technology and data capabilities that support Cancer Council NSW to deliver its vision of a cancer free future. The approved IT strategy identifies the need for stronger architecture capability, more consistent management practices, more disciplined prioritisation, and stronger data governance to enable CCNSW’s strategic ambitions over FY24–28.
The CCCNSW AI Strategy however is an organisational strategy, not a sub-component of the IT function. It envisions that we use AI to extend the reach and quality of CCNSW’s purpose, supportive care, cancer prevention, research, and the services that enable them.
The Enterprise Architect provides strategic leadership for enterprise architecture and AI across Cancer Council NSW, ensuring technology and AI initiatives align with organisational goals, governance requirements and business needs.
Please note this is a fixed term contract until June 2027.
